'Working Class Hero,' which appears on Lennon's 1970 album John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band, is considered one of the former Beatle's most overtly political songs, with its themes of class and social alienation. Green Day - singer-guitarist Billie Joe Armstrong, bassist Mike Dirnt, and drummer Tr?Cool - will also shoot an accompanying video for the track. |
